Join Our Council

Step 1:

Fill out the electronic form 100 located here and use Promo Code BLESSEDMCGIVNEY to join online for free. *

  • Enter 16488 in the Preferred Local Council field.
  • Enter San Francisco Solano in the Church Parish Name.
  • Enter Rancho Santa Margarita in the Church Parish City field.

Step 2:

  • You will be contacted by the council’s Membership Director to attend an Exemplification Ceremony. Attending an Exemplification Ceremony is required to join our local council. Exemplification Ceremony’s are open to family and friends and dress attire is suit and tie. The ceremony usually last about 30-40 min, and you will be a 3rd degree knight and a member of the council when completed.
  • You will be contacted by our Council’s Investment Advisor Representative Mark Yubeta. Participating in the Knights Insurance Products is optional, but  Father McGivney’s vision established our organization of local councils whose members sought to strengthen their faith, to serve the needs of others, and to protect their families through our insurance program.
    • Knights Insurance products are screened continuously to make sure investments are not made with companies or organizations that do not support Catholic values.

Step 3:

  • Join us at our monthly meetings. Officer’s Meetings are on the first Wednesday of each month at 7pm in the YFF basement. Social time begins at 6:30pm and all are welcome to participate.
  • General Council Meetings for all are on the third Wednesday of each month. Meeting begins at 7pm in the YFF basement and social time begins at 6:30pm.
  • Emails – You will be added to our council gmail and sign-up genius distribution lists. Keep an eye out for emails from our Grand Knight about participating in events, if you do not see emails junk your junk/spam folders or let us know.  
  • Badge and Shirt – You will receive your initial Knights t-shirt and name badge for free, Additional shirt, polos, hats, and name badges can be purchased via our council’s Warden.
  • Please participate and be active in Church, Knights and Ministry events. Be a man of action!
